Dhaka, April 4 -- Sri Lanka swept Bangladesh to win the two-match Test series 2-0 after defeating the hosts by 192 runs in the second Test on the fifth and final day at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram, the port city of the country on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Islanders registered an emphatic 328-run victory over the home side in the first Test at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on March 25.

Electing to bat first, Sri Lanka piled up a massive total of 531 runs in the first innings on the second day (Sunday).

In reply, Bangladesh scored 178 in the first innings on the third day (Monday).
