Sreelekha Mitra is said to have been in a relationship with popular Bengali actor Ferdous Ahmed! In an interview given to the Indian media, Sreelekha Mitra opened up about the romance rumours.

In his words, "Director Swapan Saha mentioned my name for a film in Bangladesh. The film's name is 'Singha Purush'. Ferdous played the role of the second hero in that film. I went to Bangladesh for the film's plot. I met him."
