A mother and her two sons were seriously injured after they got entangled in an electric wire in Kuliarchar town of Kishoreganj on Monday afternoon One of them has died. The accident occurred in Tarakandi area of Kuliarchar town. According to local sources, a young man named Bashar Mia (20) was working in a banana plantation next to his house in Purba Tarakandi area of Kuliarchar upazila. At one point, he got entangled in a hanging electric wire. At that time, his elder brother Ershad Mia (25) and mother Helena Begum (50) tried to save him. Then they also got entangled in the wire.
