Dhaka, Sept. 21 -- Smuggling is not stopping at the Sylhet border. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Sylhet Battalion's operations have seized crores of taka worth of smuggled goods from various borders from Thursday to Friday morning.

A press release from the BGB's Sylhet Battalion (48 BGB) said that separate operations were conducted by Pratappur, Bichnakandi, Dibirhaor, Sonarhat, Kalasadek and Kalairag BOPs and Indian cows, T-shirts, trousers, onions, tomatoes, betel leaves, bidis and a boat used for illegally extracting stones were seized.
