Dhaka, Dec. 5 -- Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya called Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus over phone on Thursday evening and thanked Bangladesh "for the support and expressions of solidarity" following the devastating cyclone and floods there.

"Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya called Bangladesh's Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus by phone at 6:45 pm local time on Thursday," said a press release of the Chief Adviser's Press Wing, reports BSS.
