Dhaka, Aug. 2 -- Commerce Adviser Sk Bashir Uddin has dismissed the speculations of any secret deal with the United States in exchange for the reciprocal tariff reduction on Bangladeshi exports from 35 percent to 20 percent, saying all discussions prioritised the national interests. "There is no room to ignore our own interests," he said during an informal interview with journalists in Washington on Friday.
