Dhaka, April 4 -- Shanta Jahan, the most popular presenter of the present time, spent this Eid in Qatar because she has to perform in a stage show there. She returned home on April 2 after the show.

Shanta said that even though she spent Eid in Qatar, she was seen on various TV channels during Eid programmes.

Shanta Jahan was seen hosting the programmes 'Tara Star' on GTV, 'Eid Star' on Channel 9, and 'Tarar Eid' on Bangla TV for seven consecutive days during Eid.

Since she would not be in the country, Shanta didn't take responsibility for any live programme on any TV channel. However, she said that she will be able to do shows for those he usually does live on TV afterreturning to the country.
