Dhaka, Dec. 7 -- Popular actor Abdun Noor Shajal has signed on for a new film titled Durbar. In this movie, actress Apu Biswas will be acting alongside Shajal for the first time.

The film is directed by Kamrul Hasan Fuad, marking his debut as a director.

According to reports, the movie is a murder-mystery thriller that will also blend romance and drama.

Written and scripted by Abdullah Zahir Babu, the film also features Jannatul Noor Moon and Sanju John. Shooting is scheduled to begin on December 16.

However, before filming starts, the lead actor and actress are expected to participate in an official photoshoot on December 14. The film is planned for release during next year's Eid-ul-Adha.
