Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- A three-day International Shadow United Nations (UN) Conference will begin at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) in Dinajpur on October 23.

Secretary General of the conference Fahim Al Mahmud said, "The conference will open a new horizon for the leadership practice of the young generation.

This event will create an important opportunity to awaken unity, courage and humanitarian spirit among the youth."

He said the main theme of this year's conference is inspired by the historic Santal Rebellion of 1855, which was the first large-scale indigenous mass movement in the subcontinent.
