Dhaka, Nov. 9 -- A sewing training centre has been inaugurated in Kulaura, Moulvibazar, with funding from the country's leading industrial group Bashundhara Group and the initiative of Bashundhara Shuvo Sangho, to make underprivileged women self-reliant.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mohiuddin inaugurated the training centre as the chief guest at the Muktijoddha Complex in Dakshinbazar of the municipal town at 4:30 pm on Saturday.
Yakub Tajul Mohila Degree College delivered the special guest speech at the inaugural ceremony, which was presided over by Abul Kashem Usmani, President of the Kulaura Upazila Branch of Bashundhara Shuvo Sangho, and conducted by General Secretary Bashir Al Ferdaus.
