Dhaka, Sept. 4 -- A seminar titled 'Ensuring Ethical Practice in Teaching and Research: An Overview' was held on Wednesday at Wazed Miah Science Research Centre of Jahangirnagar University (JU).
The Faculty of Biological Science organised the programme where JU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Kamrul Ahsan attended as the chief guest, while Head and Representative of UNESCO Bangladesh Susan Vize presented the keynote paper.
Addressing the event, the JU VC said, "What is written in textbooks about ethics often remains absent in our real-life practice. We must ensure that ethical guidelines are followed not only in principle but also in practice."
