Dhaka, June 11 -- Semiconductor taskforce of FDI heatmap led by the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (Bida) will submit its research report in July, said Bida Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun.The taskforce was formed as part of the FDI heatmap unveiled by the Bida in January to attract foreign investment.In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Ashik, also the executive chairman of the Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (Beza), said work on the FDI heatmap, along with 17 additional initiatives, is progressing ahead of schedule, as he shared a "report card" upon completion of eight months in office.He said as a follow-up to the FDI heatmap, work on a research is currently underway to identify priority sectors for invest...
