Dhaka, April 8 -- The government has heightened security measures in diplomatic zone- Gulshan, Baridhara- in the city against the backdrop of the protest demanding an end to the genocide in Gaza and establishment of an independent Palestine state.
As part of the move, the army, BGB, APBN, SB, CID, police and intelligence forces has been put on high alert in the areas, particularly surrounding the US embassy in Gulshan to ensure foolproof security and avoid any untoward incident, reports BSS.
