Dhaka, Sept. 1 -- Comilla University's Bijoy-24 Hall has once again been hit by theft, raising serious questions about the effectiveness of the university's security measures.
On Sunday, unidentified miscreants broke into room 423 of the residential hall and made off with valuables worth around Tk 2 lakh, including two laptops, two mobile phones, and cash.
The incident took place around 8:30 am. CCTV footage reviewed by hall authorities shows a man wearing a red panjabi and a mask entering the hall. He moved quickly towards the fourth floor, directly approaching room 423, and within minutes, exited carrying the stolen items.
