Dhaka, April 3 -- Sylhet City Corporation (SCC) Ward No. 28 councilor Raihan Hossain and two other people have been accused of beating an Assistant Engineer of Sylhet Power Development Board Sales and Distribution Division-3 named Md. Masud Rana .
The incident took place in the control room under KPI of Sales and Distribution Division-3 of Barikandi area of South Surma in the City last Sunday night. However, the councilor denied the allegation of beating. According to the councilor, after the power line fell on the road during the storm, he entered the control room to request that it be removed at night.
