Dhaka, Feb. 28 -- The Supreme Court's Legal Aid program has extended vital legal services to a total of 28,611 individuals at no cost to them, according to a report released by the National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO).
The report, covering the period from 2009 to January 2025, underscores the significant impact of the program in ensuring that financially disadvantaged individuals have access to legal support and justice. The initiative, officially launched on September 8, 2015, has been a beacon of hope for many underprivileged citizens who might otherwise be unable to afford legal representation.
