Dhaka, April 24 -- Wildlife protection activists have demanded the protection of wildlife rights and the removal of Chattogram Forest Conservator Molla Rezaul Karim, along with five other over allegations of their misdeeds on the issue.
A N M Moazzem Hossain, Chairman of the environmental organization 'Save the Nature of Bangladesh,' read out a written statement outlining the six-point demands to protect wildlife and stop their killing at Chattogram Press Club on Wednesday.
The environment protection advocate said in the interest of biosecurity, zoos established across the country in violation of wildlife conservation and safety laws should be shut down-yet the Chattogram zoo remains operational.
