Dhaka, Feb. 11 -- A Dhaka court has granted a four-day remand for former absconding Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Private Industry and Investment Adviser, Salman F Rahman, former Law Minister Anisul Huq, former State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and former Ambassador and Trinomul (grassroots) BNP's former President, Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury, in connection with the murder of Parvez Mia during an anti-discrimination movement in the capital's Jatrabari area.

Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate GM Farhan Ishtiaq issued the remand order after a hearing on Monday (February 10).

Earlier, the investigating officer, Sub-Inspector Md. Nazmul Hasan of Jatrabari Police Station, sought a 10-day remand for the accused. The four individuals were br...
