The Sakhipur Municipality of Tangail has announced a budget of Tk 17 crore 36 lakh 16 thousand 276 for the fiscal year 2025-26. The budget was officially presented on Tuesday (July 8) at a press conference held at the Upazila Parishad Hall Room by the Municipal Administrator and Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Md. Abdullah Al Rony.
The proposed budget does not include any new taxes. The total estimated income is Tk 17 crore 36 lakh 16 thousand 276, while the projected expenditure stands at Tk 12 crore 16 lakh 51 thousand 95. The expected surplus is Tk 5 crore 19 lakh 65 thousand 181.
