Dhaka, April 21 -- A sailor went missing after falling into the Karnaphuli River in Chattogram on Saturday night.The victim was Dulal Mia, son of Abdur Rob of Charjabbar in Noakhali and a staff of fishing trawler MV Partex-1.He fell into the river while getting on the fishing trawler from the BFDC-1 jetty at the river around 10:30pm.Being informed, divers from the Fire Service, Coast Guard and river police rushed to the spot and conducted a search operation overnight, said Ekram Ullah, officer-in-charge of Sadarghat river police station.The sailor could not be traced till filing of the report at 2 pm.
