Dhaka, Nov. 4 -- The National Sports Council (NSC) nominates two directors in Bangladesh Cricket Board. On October 6, the NSC nominated two persons for the directors of the BCB. One of them was Ishfaq Ahsan. But as Ishfaq Ahsan was a controversial person, then NSC withdrew his name.

Then, there was a conversation in the sports arena that Rubaba Dowla will be the replacement of Ishfaq Ahsan. Rubaba Dowla is a corporate person and also a female entrepreneur. If anyone wants to be a director of the BCB through NSC, she or he must be councillor of the BCB. Rubaba Dowla was not councillor of BCB. The NSC has nominated Rubaba Dowla as the councillor of BCB, an NSC press release said on Monday.
