The annual science-based Olympiad 'Precise Energy', organised by Rosatom's engineering arm Atomstroyexport for the Rajshahi Division, was recently held in Ishwardi.
A record number of about three thousand students participated in the Olympiad this year.
The main objective of the Olympiad is to develop interest in science among students and attract them to nuclear energy engineering and technology.
Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and Russia's National Atomic Research University MEFYI collaborated in organising this Olympiad.
Students from 47 educational institutions in Pabna, Kushtia, Natore, and Rajshahi districts participated in the Olympiad in the junior and senior categories.
