Dhaka, Sept. 24 -- RAB has arrested nine members of a gang involved in a brutal robbery at a DPDC power substation under construction in Fatullah, Narayanganj. Authorities recovered stolen electrical equipment worth Tk 6.5 million, one truck and several homemade weapons from the suspects.
Lieutenant Colonel H. M. Sajjad Hossain, commanding officer of Adamjee RAB-11, announced this information at a press conference at the Adamjee RAB-11 office in Siddhirganj on Tuesday afternoon (23 September).
Earlier, on Monday (22 September), raids in Samad Nagar, Fatullah (Narayanganj) and the Sarulia area of Demra near the capital Dhaka led to the arrests.
