Dhaka, Sept. 25 -- BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Wednesday called on party leaders and activists not to be deceived by a forged press release that neither carries his signature nor originates from the BNP office.

Rizvi said in a statement, "A vested quarter has circulated a fabricated press release on Facebook by faking my signature. This so-called release is entirely false, concocted, and spread with ill motives."

He clarified that no such release was issued from the BNP office and that it is completely fake. Rizvi urged leaders and activists at all levels to remain cautious and not to be misled by the false document being circulated on social media.
