Bangladesh, Feb. 13 -- The physical condition of BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, who is undergoing treatment at Square Hospital, is 'slightly improving'.

BNP Health Affairs Secretary Dr Rafiqul Islam on Thursday said Rizvi's oxygen requirement has decreased. "Earlier, he needed more oxygen support. Now it has come down as his condition is improving slowly."

He also said Rizvi was diagnosed with a respiratory infection, but the latest medical report showed some improvement.

Rafiqul, however, said doctors have advised him to remain in complete rest for the next few days. Rizvi was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday with breathing difficulties and fever.
