Dhaka, Dec. 30 -- Hobart Hurricanes held their nerve to defeat Melbourne Renegades by four wickets in a closely fought Big Bash League match in Hobart, chasing down 163 with one over to spare.
Batting first, Melbourne Renegades posted 162 for 9 in their 20 overs after a brisk start at the top. Josh Brown (26 off 13) and Tim Seifert (26 off 14) provided early momentum, while Oliver Peake added stability in the middle with 29 off 22 balls.
However, the Hurricanes bowlers struck regularly to prevent the Renegades from building big partnerships.
