Dhaka, July 17 -- Bangladesh leg-spinner Rishad Hossain has been rewarded for his outstanding performance in the T20I series against Sri Lanka, climbing to a career-best position in the latest ICC T20I Bowling Rankings.
In the second T20I in Dambulla, Rishad picked up 3 wickets for just 18 runs, following a wicket in the opening game.
With 4 wickets in two matches, he has surged 12 spots to reach 17th place with 623 rating points - the highest rank of his career so far.
Left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam, who returned to the XI in the second match and claimed 2 wickets for 12 runs, also made significant progress, jumping 20 spots to be ranked 57th.
