Dhaka, Feb. 15 -- The ruling Awami League has officially unveiled the names of 48 candidates nominated for reserved women's seats in the 12th National Parliament.

The announcement was made on Wednesday by the party's General Secretary Obaidul Quader, at the Ganobhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

According to Quader, a total of 1,553 candidates submitted nomination forms during this round of selection. After a thorough process of scrutiny and evaluation, the party has chosen 48 qualified candidates to represent the reserved women's seats in the National Parliament.

The 48 candidates who have been nominated are: Rejiya Islam from Panchagarh

Droupadi Debi Agarwal from Thakurgaon, Ashika Sultana from Nilphamari, Rokeya Su...
