Dhaka, Sept. 30 -- Feni district has been rehabilitated after the last year's terrible flood at the initiative of the Red Crescent at a cost of 10 crore taka.

This information was given at an evaluation meeting held at a restaurant in the city on Sunday night. A.D.C (General) Md. Ismail Hossain was the chief guest at the meeting.

He said, "Flood control is difficult in Feni's geographical position. Each river brings a lot of silt. The water holding capacity of these rivers is decreasing. For this, river management is necessary. More work is needed on this.
