Dhaka, July 15 -- Rangpur Riders sealed their second straight victory in the Global Super League (GSL), edging past Australia's Big Bash League (BBL) champions Hobart Hurricanes by 1 runs in a breathtaking contest at Guyana National Stadium in Providence, Guyana on Sunday.

Pacer Syed Khaled Ahmed led the charge with 4-26 as the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) franchise Rangpur kept them unbeaten in the tournament.

Rangpur, also the defending champions of GSL put up 151-6 after being asked to bat first with their Caribbean recruit Kyle Mayers hitting 42 ball-67, a knock laced with eight fours and two sixes.Opener Ibrahim Zadran made 31 and gave the initial impetus amid the wickets tumbling around him.
