Dhaka, May 14 -- Rangpur Riders will play in the Global Super League (GSL). This is the second edition of GSL. Earlier, Rangpur Riders emerged the champions in the last year's GSL. It may be mentioned that Rangpur Riders were ousted from in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket 2024 in the play-off stage.

As Rangpur Riders failed to reach the final of the BPL Cricket, there was an uncertainty arose that Rangpur Riders can participate in the GSL.

The first edition of the Global Super League was held in Guyana of West Indies. A total of five teams took part in the last edition of GSL.
