Dhaka, May 4 -- The Bangladesh Palestine Solidarity Committee organized a protest rally titled 'Women and children consolidation rally' against Zionism and western imperialism and demanded an immediate end to the occupation and massacre of Israelis in Gaza.
They staged the rally in front of National Museum at Shahbagh where academics, politicians, leaders, poets, writers and activists from progressive and leftist organizations joined the rally.
Prof Emeritus Serajul Isam Chowdhury, a renowned academic, critic and columnist, was present as a chief guest at this programme and marked the acts of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netaniyahu as the 'new Hitler' and the western media as the 'new Goebbels' who are patronizing the crimes against hu...
