Dhaka, Sept. 20 -- The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places across the country over the next 24 hours, beginning at 9:00 am on Friday.

"Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions," according to a bulletin issued by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

It added, "One or two places over Rajshahi, Barishal and Chattogram divisions may witness similar weather with moderately heavy falls at places over the country."
