Dhaka, March 4 -- The current presence of both the General Secretary of the ruling Awami League, Obaidul Quader, and the Secretary-General of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, in Singapore for medical treatment has sparked discussions and speculations about the potential political ramifications of their simultaneous visits.

Obaidul Quader departed Dhaka for Singapore on Sunday (March 3) to undergo routine health check-ups, given his history of cardiac issues.
