Dhaka, Aug. 31 -- A protest rally was held at the platform of Kulaura Junction Station to protest the discriminatory behaviour of the railway towards the people of Greater Sylhet and to demand the immediate implementation of the eight-point demands.

The program was organized under the banner of 'Point Demand Implementation Movement'. The rally issued a stern warning that if eight points of demand, including the introduction of two new trains on the Sylhet-Dhaka and Sylhet-Cox's Bazar railway routes, were not met, the railways would be closed.
