Dhaka, May 27 -- After months of friction over alleged hidden charges and imbalanced ticket revenue distribution, film producers and Star Cineplex have finally reached a consensus, putting an end to a long-standing standoff that had cast a shadow over local film screenings, said a press release.
The breakthrough came during a meeting held recently at Star Cineplex's Bashundhara City branch, where both parties agreed on a revised revenue-sharing model.
While the exact financial terms remain undisclosed, the agreement is being hailed as a significant move towards greater transparency and collaboration in the country's film exhibition sector.
