Dhaka, Oct. 21 -- The probe body formed to investigate the incident of gang rape of a young woman in Sylhet Murari Chand College (MC College) campus on September 25 submitted its report to the High Court on Tuesday.
The three-member committee placed the 176-page report through the HC division Registrar Md Golam Rabbani as
per its September 29 directive, said Deputy Attorney General Nawroz Mohammad Russel Chowdhury.
After receiving the report, the High Court bench of Justice Md Mozibur Rahman Miah and Justice Mohi Uddin Shamim set November 1 for further hearing on the issue. However, DAG Nawroz did not say anything about the content of the report.
