Dhaka, April 17 -- Gazi Monowar Hossain Tamim, prosecutor at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), has said that the investigation into the genocide case against ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is nearing its final stage.

He made this statement to journalists on Wednesday afternoon following a hearing at the International Crimes Tribunal.

Gazi Monowar Hossain Tamim stated, "The cases filed against former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Obaidul Quader, other Awami League leaders, and top officials of the law enforcement agencies are all individual-centric cases in the tribunal.
