Dhaka, March 17 -- A press conference was held in Lohagara, Chattogram, protesting an alleged illegal attempt to allocate government khas land to Golam Hossain, father of Upazila Awami League Secretary Salauddin Hiru.
The information was revealed in a press conference held at a restaurant in Lohagara Sadar on Sunday afternoon.
Advocate Faruk Uddin read out a written statement on behalf of the victims at the press conference. He said that the land with plot number BS 713 is khas land behind the building owned by Mustafa Group located in the heart of Lohagara Upazila.
The plot is a narrow, vertical plot. Therefore, its location is behind the building owned by Mustafa Group, as well as behind the establishment of another owner, Golam Hossai...
