Dhaka, Dec. 6 -- President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Friday hosted milad and doa mahfil at all mosques within the Bangabhaban compound after Jummah prayers, seeking the swift recovery of BNP Chairperson and former three-time prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The president joined the doa at the Bangabhaban Jame Masjid, where he also offered Jummah prayers alongside his secretaries and senior officials.
Bangabhaban Jame Masjid Pesh Imam Maulana Muhammad Saiful Kabir conducted the doa, praying for the early recovery of Begum Zia. A special prayer was also offered for her long life and good health.
