Dhaka, Feb. 26 -- Women right activists arranged a discussion meeting at Barishal Circuit House Conference Room on Saturday called for practicing family and social values to prevent torture against women and girls and resist upward trends of this crime by forming social committees.

The prgramme was organised by Nari Oikya Parishad (NOP/ women solidarity forum) Barishal district unit presided by Begum Faizun Nahar, district president and conducted by Jesmin Nahar, district secretary and Tanima Rahman Khan, activist.
