Dhaka, Nov. 11 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that a conspiracy is underway to foil and delay the election. "Postponing this election would mean our ruin - the ruin of this country," he warned.

He made the remarks on Monday while addressing a views-exchange meeting with freedom fighters and their children at the Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila Muktijoddha Complex.

The meeting was organized by the Thakurgaon District Unit Command of the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad (Freedom Fighters' Council).
