Dhaka, Sept. 14 -- Sreelekha Mitra, once a popular actress in Bengali cinema, has become a strong voice of protest in recent years. She has been vocal about issues such as political corruption, the cancellation of teachers' jobs, and the plight of women facing oppression. Because of this, she has angered a certain section of society. Recently, posters appeared on walls near her home, calling for her social boycott. Sharing the matter on social media, Sreelekha said that she had approached the police to remove the offensive posters and stop such defamatory actions. However, when the police took no action, she moved to court.
