Dhaka, May 24 -- Umama Fatema, the central spokesperson of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has stated that the country is currently far from any form of political unity. According to her, the collapse of political unity occurred as early as last September or October, even though its outward appearance lingered for a while.
In a post from her verified Facebook profile on Thursday night, she wrote, "Political unity broke down back in September-October. There was a shell of it that remained for a while. Now even that shell is falling apart, and that's why many are surprised."
