Dhaka, Sept. 9 -- A polling officer at Dhaka University's Curzon Hall was relieved of duty on Tuesday, Sept 9, following an error in which more than one ballot was handed to a student during the DUCSU election.

The incident occurred at Amar Ekushey Hall, on the second floor. The officer, Ziaur Rahman, was promptly dismissed from election duties. The university characterized the event as an unintentional mistake, acknowledged by the voter at the time, and stated that the matter was resolved swiftly after the complaint was raised.
