Dhaka, Aug. 2 -- Police have removed the 'July Warriors' from the Shahbag intersection in Dhaka after a clash broke out between two factions of the group demanding the declaration of the July Charter. Their protest stage was also dismantled.

Vehicular movement resumed around 6:45 PM on Friday after the road was cleared.

Earlier, on Thursday at 11 AM, the 'July Warriors' began a protest by blocking the Shahbag intersection, which halted all traffic through the area. They spent the night there, continuing their sit-in on Friday morning by laying tarpaulin on the road.

They gave speeches from a makeshift stage and surrounded the area with barricades.
