Dhaka, Feb. 17 -- The Cyber Tribunal of Dhaka on Sunday granted bail to a police inspector in a case filed for making derogatory remarks on social media about Parliament whip Shamsul Hoque Chowdhury.
Judge Ash Sams Joglul Hossain of the tribunal passed the order after Police Inspector Mahmud Saiful Karim surrendered in his court last noon.
On September 25 last year, Jatiya Sangsad Whip Shamsul Hoque Chowdhury filed the case against Mahmud Saiful Karim alias Saif Amin under the Digital Security Act.
