Dhaka, March 14 -- The local residents have written to the local government department demanding that the area under Aichanoadda under the jurisdiction of Ward No. 3, a part of Savar Sadar Union of Savar Municipality, should not be included in the municipality. Abdur Rahim, a local resident and headmaster of Chapin New Model High School, submitted the application to the Secretary of the Local Government Department on Tuesday on behalf of the local residents.The application was filed against the recent initiative taken by the municipal administration to bring the area under the municipal jurisdiction.
