Dhaka, Oct. 12 -- Jatiyo Party's new faction Chairman Barrister Anisul Islam Mahmud has voiced widespread skepticism about the likelihood of holding the national elections in February.Addressing the central representative meeting of Jatiyo Jubo Sanghoti at Howlader Tower on Saturday, he criticised the government's repeated claims that the upcoming polls would be the "best, most acceptable, impartial, free, and fair in history."He noted that the government's information adviser recently alleged that all key administrative positions are controlled by BNP and Jamaat, which raises serious questions about the administration's neutrality.
