Dhaka, Sept. 23 -- With the theme "Let's build a Bangladesh of peace and harmony, act now to build a peaceful world," a peace walk was organized in Sapahar, Naogaon, on the occasion of International Peace Day 2025.
The walk started on Sunday from the Upazila Parishad premises. It was organized by The Hunger Project's Peace Facilitator Group (PFG) and Youth Peace Ambassador Group (YPAG).
The procession paraded through the main roads of the upazila town and concluded in front of the Press Club.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abida Sifat, PFG Ambassadors Ibrahim Hossain and Morsheda Parvin, PFG Coordinator and journalist Taslim Uddin, and journalist Babul Akter took part in the event.
